Carol Ross Barney was recently bestowed with the IL AIA’s highest honor, a first for women. This award is merely further confirmation of her dedication to public service and joins a multitude of other awards she has already received, including the AIA Jefferson Award for public architecture. Her fellow CWA members particularly owe her a debt of gratitude for her involvement with the organization.
